Julia Schumann Counselling
|About Counselling||10th April 2020|
What is counselling?
The aim of counselling is to enable you to gain a greater understanding of yourself and any difficulties you may be experiencing. It can be helpful to talk to someone outside your situation, to spend time exploring issues that may be worrying you or stopping you from living the life you want. Counselling is not about giving advice; it is about helping you to gain further insight into who you are and who you want to be.
What I offer?
At my Epsom practice. I offer both time limited and open ended face to face counselling for adults and young people (aged 11 to 18 years). Sessions are usually held weekly, at the same time each week and last for 50 minutes.
I also offer Telephone Counselling and have many years experience working on the telephone. Telephone sessions are usually weekly, at the same time (although there is some flexibility) and last for 50 minutes.
"Following my sessions with Julia, my outlook on life is brighter. Counselling has enabled me to live my life instead of just going through the motions" (L)
"With Julia, I was able to talk about things I kept to myself for a long time" (K)
"You have helped me more than words can say, I cannot express how grateful I am" (S)
